Q. Can I use my regular hair care products like shampoo, conditioner & hairspray on my hairpiece?
A. Under no circumstances should you use your human hair care products on your synthetic hairpiece. These products will ruin your hairpiece.

Q. I color my hair, and my hair color fades throughout the month. How can I wear a hairpiece and keep it matching my color?
A. This is so common among women. I suggest buying two of your favorite hairpieces in two different shades. You can wear the darker shade when you first color your hair and the lighter shade as your hair color fades.

Q. Can I color my hairpiece or wig?
A. Only a temporary rinse can be used on the hairpieces. Not permanent hair coloring, this will ruin it. You can only make a hairpiece darker, not lighter. But please note that once you use a temporary rinse on a synthetic hairpiece is a permanent result, no changing it back.

Q. What if I get caught in the rain?
A. Rain will not hurt your hairpiece. It will not lose its curl, style or become frizzy.

Q. How often should I wash my hair piece?
A. Wash it as needed depending on how often you wear it and what odors have been exposed to the hairpiece, but use synthetic wig shampoo which is available.

Q. Can I curl my hair pieces?
A. No, styling tools such as curling irons, blow dryers etc., will melt the synthetic hair of your hair piece.

Q. I have short hair, are there any hair pieces that work with short hair?
A. All you need is some sort of a “nubby” ponytail, for the hair pieces to attach to. There are styles to cascade over your short hair style to create an illusion of longer hair.

Q. Will anyone notice I am wearing a hairpiece?
A. Not unless you tell them. Be prepared to get complements, most women say people think they have done something great with their own hair, spending hours on styling it.

Q. Do you have hair pieces for children?
A. Yes, we have beautiful styles for all ages including certain ones that work well and look great on children.

Q. Do you have anything that will match gray hair?
A. Yes, we have a total of 87+ including a variety of different shades of grays.

Q. I’d like to host a party, but I do not live in Houghton County Area, can I book a party?
A. Yes, you can. I will travel to your house depending upon distance. Perhaps a group of friends or family would love to take a Copper Country ride and visit the boutique. I will mail your order to your door ! And the beauty is that you have perfect color match !

Q. What policy is there if my hair piece breaks?
A. All sales are final. Once a hair piece has been worn there is no return policy because of the nature of the product. If taken proper care of, a hair piece should not break. If, in time a comb should break, these can be replaced for a small fee.

Q. How do I match my hair color for a hair piece?
A. Pull all your hair back and match with the root area of your hair. This will be the part that will be seen when wearing a hair piece. Often the ends of our hair is much lighter than the root section.

 

Return Policies
To keep in compliance with the hygienic health laws, the nature of our product does not allow returns. All Sales are Final. In the event that you would receive merchandise that is damaged you may return the item in its “as received” condition within 3 business days (no exceptions) with confirmation by the shipper USPS or UPS etc. All returned shipping is at your expense. The item will be replaced with an exact duplicate of the original. Sorry No Refunds or Exchanges. In the event that the merchandise is not damaged but you are not satisfied with the merchandise, whether it be color, style etc. you may exchange your item. See exchange policies.

Exchange Policies
When wishing to exchange an item you must send the merchandise back in its original factory condition and packaging with all tags attached. The returned item must be returned within 3 business days (no exceptions) of your receipt of the item with confirmation by the shipper USPS or UPS etc. All returned shipping is at your expense. We cannot accept items that are not in original factory condition. Items must not have been worn other than to try it on. Items altered in any way washed, combed, brushed, exposed to odors, such as smoke, perfume, hairspray etc. will not be accepted. There can be no alterations or damage to the packaging. Our return/exchange department will inspect the merchandise and reserves the right to refuse any exchange. As a result you will receive only a credit of the item’s “sale cost”. This excludes tax and shipping. Beginning in May 2007 a 20% restocking fee will apply to all exchanged items regardless of the reason.  The exchange must be of equal or higher amount.

Canceled Orders
If any merchandise is canceled once the order has been processed the purchaser will be responsible for 50% of their total bill, plus any credit card or check processing fees.

Back ordered Items
Occasionally items will become back ordered due to great demand in style and/or color. Please know that your items will be shipped to you as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We recommend that you order several weeks in advance if your hair piece is for a special occasion.
